Itinerary

Day 1Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

  • 07:00 AM – Pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech
  • Drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m)

  • Stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site

  • Lunch near Ouarzazate (not included)

  • Continue through Skoura Oasis and Valley of Roses

  • Arrive at Dades Valley by evening

  • Dinner and overnight stay in a riad/hotel

Day 2Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

  • Breakfast at the riad/hotel
  • Drive through the Dades Gorge and Todra Gorge, famous for their dramatic cliffs

  • Lunch along the way (not included)

  • Continue towards Erfoud and the desert gateway

  • Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon

  • Camel trek at sunset into the dunes of Erg Chebbi

  • Dinner and traditional Berber music around a campfire under the stars

🛌 Overnight in Merzouga Desert Camp (private tent)

Day 3Merzouga – Middle Atlas – Fes

  • Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes
  • Breakfast at the camp

  • Camel ride or 4×4 transfer back to Merzouga

  • Drive through the Ziz Valley, Midelt, and Middle Atlas Mountains

  • Pass by Azrou cedar forest, home to wild Barbary macaques
