Itinerary

Day 1Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Zagora Desert

  • 07:00 AM – Pickup from your hotel/riad in Marrakech

  • Drive across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) in the High Atlas Mountains

  • Stop to visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage site)

  • Lunch at a local restaurant near Ouarzazate (not included)

  • Continue through the scenic Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and ksour (fortified villages)

  • Arrive in Zagora Desert by late afternoon

  • Camel trek into the dunes to reach your Berber desert camp

  • Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by Berber music around the campfire

Day 2Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

  • Wake up early for an optional sunrise over the desert dunes

  • Breakfast at the camp

  • Camel ride back to meet your driver

  • Scenic drive back via the Draa Valley and Ouarzazate

  • Free time to explore Ouarzazate or visit the Taourirt Kasbah (optional)

  • Lunch on the way (not included)

  • Return to Marrakech in the evening (around 7–8 PM)
